Despite setting “Maximum number of items in Clipboard History” to 10,000 and unchecking the “Delete History Item After” option in the “Default Copy Setting” under the App Exception tab, Clipboard History still retains items for only about 25 days, even when the total number of items is far below 10,000. Older items appear to be automatically deleted.
What could be causing this? How can I make items persist longer?

Is your entire history being wiped, or just some items?

Just the items that are older than about 25 days

I set up a macro to periodically count history items and detect deletions. It appears that some items were removed between 2026/03/27, when I shut down my PC, and 2026/03/30, when I booted it up again.
Hopefully, the provided log contains the information you need. Let me know if there’s anything else I can do to help pinpoint the issue.

I don't see anything strange in the log, can you send me a screenshot of the ClipboardFusion Settings > Application Exceptions window?

I just noticed my application exceptions has all disappeared. Probably the same issue as
Application Exceptions Not Working
Also, weirdly, except during that PC restart, I haven’t noticed any history items getting deleted recently. Old items used to get cleaned up unexpectedly during normal PC usage every day. I’ll keep monitoring and may provide more logs if it happens again.

Sounds good, we'll keep you posted when we have a new beta for some added logging with the app exceptions.
