Hi, I am trying to assign my pinned items 1 to 9 to hotkeys CONTROL+Windows+1 2, 3 etc but every time it says something like "Error - can't assign hotkey. Maybe another program is using that combination".

Looking at Windows 8 docs, I cant see that it uses CTRL+WIN+n for anything.

Can you please offer any advice or suggestions?

UPDATE:

I have updated to 3.0.1 same problem though
the precise message is:

HotKey Bind Failed. Pinned Item #1
Shift + Control + Win +1
Key combination might already be in use.
