Strange delay for macro

Frank99's profile on WallpaperFusion.com
The attached macro is designed to change case for highlighted text. When I run it, it takes several seconds to produce output (like 3-4 full seconds). If I manually copy the text to the clipboard, it produces output faster, but it is still slow. What changes can I make to the macro to make it produce output faster? Thanks.

Hi Frank,

Do you have issues with any other macros, or just this one in particular?

Thanks!

Hmm, after testing I am actually getting delays with other macros. How to troubleshoot? The computer is fast in general with other clipboard-related scripts, etc.

Hi Frank,

Does the delay only happen on the first run of each macro, or does it happen every time you run it?

Thanks!

Interesting, I tested this out on my end and it seemed to work fine. Could you send me a copy of your troubleshooting info? Here are the steps:
  • Open the Settings > Troubleshooting tab
  • Click the "Export Info to File" button
  • Reply with the file attached

Thanks!

Could you try updating to our latest beta and see if the issue persists? Here's the link: https://www.clipboardfusion.com/Download/Beta/

Thanks!
