When that happens, if you right-click the ClipboardFusion tray icon and choose "Show Preview Popup," does it show the text, or say there's nothing on the clipboard?

Interesting! When I do this, I get the image in the preview popup every time, which is somewhat expected, because Excel puts both image and text on the clipboard when you copy something.

Could you attach a backup of your ClipboardFusion settings? (Settings > Options > Export)

Thanks!

I'm having the same problem. I am able to paste something right after it's copied but if a couple minutes pass, I'm not able to paste again (nothing happens when hotkey is pressed). Preview popup says the clipboard is currently empty.

@sannpeterson: On the ClipboardFusion Settings > Clipboard Manager tab, do you have the "Automatically clear clipboard after" option enabled?

@Shaun: I can't seem to get that issue to occur here with your restored settings. When I copy text in Excel, I just get the normal text scrubbed notification.

Could you send me a debug log for this issue?

  • On the ClipboardFusion Settings > Troubleshooting tab, change the Logging drop-down to "L1: Log Minimal" and click Apply
  • Reproduce the issue and note the time so we'll know where to check in the log file
  • Click the "Export Info to File" button on the Settings > Troubleshooting tab
  • Reply with the file attached
  • Disable debug logging after sending the log

Thanks!
