Selecting a default tab for the Clipboard Manager doesn't seem to work.
Are you opening the Clipboard Manager with a hotkey, or via the tray menu?

I see it works when opening from the tray, but I never do it that way.
If your key combination is currently assigned to the "Show History Menu" hotkey, make sure to change it to "Show Default Item Menu" and it should then work. If not, please let me know!
