I used CLCL for many years and still find its exhaustive features and capabilities unmatched by any other clipboard program. One feature I used a lot was placing oft used text snippets into category folders so they could easily be accessed and pasted when needed. Fusion's search makes it easy to find clips but one needs to remember the clip's content, and clips aren't logically grouped for easy maintenance.

CLCL also provided a way to cascade clipboard items by groups, say last 10 clipboards, then a pop-up menu for the next 10 or twenty, and another sub-menu for even older items is how I configured it. CBFusion is really good, these additions would make it even better. Thanks,

This is currently on our feature request list, so I've added your vote to it. We'll be sure to let you know if/when we're able to implement it in the future.

Thanks!

This is the one feature that makes me hesitate buying a ClipboardFusion licence.

Otherwise, I quite like the application.

Categories are so important to usability so I've switched to CopyQ. Like CLCL it takes some digging into to unlock its full potential but is the best alternative I've yet found. Still holding out hope CF will get with the program.

Count my vote for adding folders. I've used ClipCache from xrayz software for years but for a variety of reasons I've had to let it go. I found and purchased ClipboardFusion and quite like it, but folder for organizing clips would be helpful to the way I use the clipboard.
