Is CF history, pinned ect encrypted at at all or is it in plain text?

The history list is stored plaintext in a SQLite database in %LOCALAPPDATA%\ClipboardFusion. The database is password protected.

https://www.clipboardfusion.com/Compare/ says the Clipboard Text is stored in an "Encrypted Database".
But of course password protection is not the same as encryption.
Please can someone clarify this?
@mr-b: It's both. The clipboardfusion.db file that's stored in %LOCALAPPDATA%\ClipboardFusion is encrypted and password protected.
