Lately I've noticed the app lagging a lot and I think it has to do with macro usage. I use macros quite a bit in my workflow and I've noticed a few things. First, in Win10/11 if you taskbar settings, you'll see may instances of ClipboardFusion in the hidden icons section. I believe these are remnants of the macro being executed. This makes me wonder with all these entries it is making the app slower to respond, especially while right-clicking and accessing the original CF system tray icon. I am currently seeing this in Windows 11 but also noticed it while running in a Windows 10 VM. I also tried running the latest non-beta with the same results. Is this a bug or something I could fix on my side? Thanks!

It gets slow over time. When it's first launched it works perfectly. After a while of usage it takes longer or sometimes doesn't process the triggers properly, resulting in unmodified or an empty clipboard. Accessing the system tray icon also gets slower to access, sometimes not responding in several seconds. Closing and restarting is a quick fix but doesn't last long until I see clipboard weirdness again.

Not much of anything. Very little CPU usage, if any shown. Then again, today the lag hasn't been very bad at all. Memory hovers around 87-90MB but does use around 150MB at launch then drops.
I'm not sure if you'll need this, but decided to include the debug info.

There was no perceivable difference doing so when I tried it in the past, however...
There was a change in the lag as it doesn't seem to do it as much as it did and it makes me wonder if the latest update for Windows 11 (Insider) made a difference. No longer does accessing the context menu in the system tray take several, sometimes 5 or more, to appear, it's almost instant. I can't say for sure that was the fix, but since I didn't change any settings in CF it's coincidence for sure. Triggers during copy process seem to be quicker, too, when it works as intended.
The other issues still remain, though. The numerous entries of "ClipboardFusion" in Windows Taskbar other settings along with random issues of triggers not being triggered during copy. I've worked around that issue lately with a hotkey to force a trigger and paste.
Thanks for looking into this issue!
