I am brand new to CF but I think it has a lot of promise. One of the things that I could not find How To Do online was HOW TO DEFINE AND CAPTURE An IMAGE on the screen. My "old" clipboard manager (ClipMate) allowed me to enter Hot Key combo and simply click and drag to draw a rectangle that was saved when I released the righthand button.

With CF on Windows, I have learned the following: Press Print Screen (PrtSct) key, select the left-most option from the small popup, click right-hand mouse and draw rectangle you want to capture, and release mouse button. Your image is now in CF and it will be inserted in image capable programs (e.g., Word, OpenOffice, Corel etc) OR you can save it to a file by right clicking it and selecting "save to file" from the resulting drop-down menu. This is not as "slick" as ClipMate's ability to pretty much automatically output such captures to files, but it is, thankfully, a workable solution for me -- and, who knows, maybe there is a pre-made Macro that will do just that. And, I am abandoning ClipMate because its once excellent customer service has pretty much vanished and it is increasingly incompatible with Windows' frequent pushed updates.
