I recently installed the
6.4 Beta 1
update and noticed that using the "Add to Online Recent" option from the Clipboard Manager adds the clip to the manager's "Online Recent" tab but fails to actually upload to the online site (i.e. not visible on https://www.clipboardfusion.com/Online/Items/Recent/).

Anyone else experiencing the same issue?

Looks like we can reproduce it here, we'll take a look into it.

Thanks!

I noticed the same thing when I tried to use the iPhone app, whose clips haven't been updated since I installed the new beta.

One reason I use ClipboardFusion is it allows me to write on Windows longer text messages for sending on my iPhone. Since "Online Recent" hasn't been working in beta for a while now, should I revert to release, or can we expect a beta update soon?

We're working on another beta, but you can roll back if you would like by running the last stable installer directly overtop of your current install.

Thanks!

Thanks for getting back to me. I'll roll back until the next beta is done.

Just confirming that reinstalling the v6.3 release does indeed resolve this bug; install completed without any errors or loss of settings (recommend backing 'em up anyway). I'll keep an eye out for v6.4 Beta 2 release.

We've fixed this up in 6.4 Beta 2.

  • On the Settings > Options tab, enable the "Check for new Beta (newer, unstable) versions" option
  • Click the Apply button
  • Click the "Check for Updates" button
Thanks!
