There are three options for [Automatic Text Scrubbing Mode] now.
*Disabled
*Auto scrub all copied clipboard text
*Auto scrub double-copied clipboard text

I want one more:
*Auto scrub single-copied clipboard text, but when double-copied, it copies normally

It's difficult to express shortly. :-(

Makes sense! It's actually been requested before, so I've added your vote to the feature request and I'll be sure to post an update if/when we're able to implement it.

Thanks!

Just wanted to let you know that in the latest ClipboardFusion Beta (http://www.clipboardfusion.com/Download/Beta), we've implemented the "Enabled, Except on Double-Copy" option for the scrubbing :)

I use another clipboard software(CLCL) with clipboardfusion.
When I copy just once in "Auto-scrub all except on double-copy" mode, the clipboard history of CLCL shows doubled text as if I copied twice.
Are there nothing for it...? (I love both softwares. :-)

I'll test this out as soon as I get a chance and I'll keep you posted on what I can find out :)

Thanks!

Ok, I've tested this out, and the reason that this happens is because the originally copied text is getting added to the CLCL history menu, and then when ClipboardFusion scrubs the text and replaces it in the clipboard, CLCL picks up that second entry as well.

You can avoid this by adding ClipboardFusion to the Ignore Program list on the Window tab in the CLCL settings. Please see the attached screenshot for reference.

Thanks!

Thank you for detailed reference !!
But it doesn't solved...

I tried:

Title: ClipboardFusion
Class name: (blank)

Title: ClipboardFusion*
Class name: *

Title: ClipboardFusion Main Controller
Class name: WindowsForms10.Window.8.app.0.33c0d9d

and so on, with restarting CLCL and ClipboardFusion.

When I copied "once", CLCL shows doubled history.
And when I copy "twice", CLCL shows singular history.

I attached clcl.ini for reference.

Strange, it worked for me. Did you select ClipboardFusion from the list in CLCL, or did you manually type all of the details into the rule?

I selected beleow from list of CLCL window,

Title: ClipboardFusion Main Controller
Class name: WindowsForms10.Window.8.app.0.33c0d9d

and delete some characters to make such as below

Title: ClipboardFusion
Class name: (blank)

Title: ClipboardFusion*
Class name: *

And I tried some variations of pairing, etc.

Ok, interesting! I just noticed in my screenshot that that stuff is blank. I didn't actually delete any text though, so maybe it's a bug in the CLCL UI? I only selected the ClipboardFusion entry from the list, and then enabled the "Ignore Window" check box. Could you try doing just that, without modifying any of the options?

Thanks!

I'm confirming that the steps Keith explained are working. Select the window beginning with the name "ClipboardFusion", press the arrow below it and check the ignore box.

While testing I found a small bug in CF; right click CF trayicon > clipboard history > clicking an item doesn't bring it to the top.

Have been a fan on CLCL for years and with the exception of the customizable menu on shortcut, I would have switched to CF.

@jerone: Sorry for the long delay. Clicking an item in the history menu isn't meant to bring it to the top actually. The history menu is meant to stay in the order that the items were copied :)

Isn't that a little bit misleading, as for me the menu shows the last items that where in the clipboard history. And when clicking an item in the menu, that item is the current (and thus the top one) in the clipboard history. (if this makes any sense :) )

@jerone: You have a valid point :) I'll put it on our list for review. Perhaps we can just make it an option in the Settings. If anyone else in the Discussions has an opinion on this as well, we'd love to hear it!
