Currently, history is lost when one reboots. Would it be possible to allow it to be retained? Maybe have a maximum number of entries?

This is something I have been thinking about, and will probably do something like this in a future release. :)

I would like to see this feature. Any plans?

It's still open on our list. I've added your vote to the feature request, and we'll be sure to let you know if/when we're able to implement it :)

Thanks!

Blimey - it's been almost 4 years since I asked for this. Where did the time go? 8)

+1

Can you create scrip for this?

+1 added. Unfortunately this wouldn't really be possible with a script, but we'll definitely let you guys know if/when we're able to add it as a full feature.

I somewhat had a similar suggestion, but more about having the ability to search through the clipboard items and importing/exporting etc. I'd like to see a window, not just the taskbar context menu, so it's easier to manage. Something like the image below.

http://www.codeproject.com/KB/database/msdatagrid/msdatagrid.gif

What could be even more useful is where had the information been copied from, and/or saved to, providing the URL or system directory path. For instance, if copied text / img etc were from a specific URL the database would categorize that information within a child of the url, or if it were a particular file on a system or network drive the clipboard fusion databse window would display a list of what was copied from that directory etc etc.

URL(http://www.blahblah..com):
----copied text
----copied text
----copied/saved_file(img)
----copied/saved_file(img)
----copied/saved_file(img)
----copied text
----copied text
UNC Path(D:\path\path\...\path\) or (\\network_name\blah\blah\...\blah\):
----copied text
----copied text
----copied/saved_file(img)
----copied/saved_file(img)
----copied/saved_file(img)
----copied text
----copied text

I agree that this would be an excellent feature.
I was a user of CLCL and decided to try clipboard fusion - CF is a great application but it is missing the retention of history after a reboot.
(and I don't always have internet access to sync my history)

Agreed. +1 for this. Surprising that something like this has lingered since 2010. I'll continue to use Ditto (Portable) for clipboard history across sessions but I'll definitely check back in on this app in the future.

I do <3 BF apps.

The latest ClipboardFusion Beta versions now have the ability to keep a persistent local history, and you can pin items locally as well, without having to sync them :)

Thanks!

And only 7 years after I requested it 8). I may try CF again, but I'm currently using an excellent clipboard program, ArsClip, which does everything I need (and more) - imo much better than Ditto.

Thanks for adding this, though. FWIW I'm still using DF, after all these years.

No worries! We always follow-up when implementing feature requests, no matter how old they are. If you want to try ClipboardFusion again in the future, just let us know :)

Thanks!
