Is there any chance a folder/tree based management of clip items could be implemented?

It seems that clipboard fusion has thought of a lot of this but a way to organize your clips seems to be very essential but missing.
This is the only thing for me holding me back from switching to cf (and I have gut feeling that it keeps a lot others from switching). But this is all "in my very humble opinion".

I really hope this can be implemented.

Thank you.

We have something like this on our feature request list, but can't offer an ETA on it, sorry! I've added your vote to the open feature request, and if we're able to implement it in a future update, we'll be sure to let you know.

Thanks!

THIS would be useful. In fact I thought it had it already but I can't find it. I'm looking for a way to organize pinned clips into application-specific clipboard manager windows and attach hotkeys to open specific windows. for example:

1. snippets for Python programming
2. macros for Lightroom and Photoshop
3. snippets for Latex

Each would have their own page of snippets/commands/macros. The idea to further organize them in a Tree structure is great!

Sorry to kick this up, but is there any indication that this is still in the planning?

Hi Ron,

This is still open on our feature request list, but it will require some large UI changes. We don't have any immediate plans to add it, but we'll be sure to let you know if we have new further news on it in the future.

Thanks!
