Maybe I'm doing something wrong here, but I have a few instances of CF on a few devices. They are all logged into the same account for syncing purposes. The History from each device is not syncing to the Online Recents at all. I'd think one point of the software is to clip on one computer and have access on another. Is there some weird setting I'm missing? I can send my settings if needed. My clipboards haven't synced in 3 weeks!

If you want all of your clipboard history to sync by default you'll have to enable that in the Settings > Clipboard Syncing > Sync all copied text automatically. :)

Thanks!

I do have it checked for all of my installations, if the picture is what you mean? And I've logged out then in without it fixing.

@tuftsanti: Are you having the same issue with your text not being copied all the time?

All except my android phone, but that's not syncing either. I'm mainly using 2 computers on the same network, so it's weird that it won't work. I doubt it's firewalled, but I can try uninstall/reinstall on both devices?

Uninstalling/re-installing likely won't make a difference so we'll leave that as a last resort. Could you send me a debug log?

  • On the ClipboardFusion Settings > Troubleshooting tab, change the Logging drop-down to "L1::Log Minimal" and click Apply
  • Restart ClipboardFusion
  • Copy some text (assuming you have the option enabled for syncing all copied text)
  • Reply with the %APPDATA%\ClipboardFusion\ClipboardFusion.log file attached (can be found by clicking the Open Log button on the Troubleshooting tab)
  • Disable debug logging after sending the log

I attached the log. The local clipboard is working just fine, it just won't sync!

UPDATE!
I see what's happening and how ClipboardFusion handles Recent and Online Pinned.

Recent Items to show
Pinned Items to show

These are set to 20 both by default. I can change them to 75 both max. But now I still cannot go back and check perhaps even more. (76+)

Anyway to show all or a larger amount of Recent Online and Pinned Onlineby default when I click that tab in the app? How do I check them from any point? Are they gone? As I cannot seem to get past 75 of the last.

Or is this a Feature Request now I should be asking?

Text does not take up that much. I think 75 max is super limiting. I really need this for a long term solution with much higher limits. Especially for the Pinned Online (Recent is fine the way it is for my needs).

I can use PasteBin Pro but I would rather keep all of my clippings / Copies to one app. It's a work flow thing for me.

Please advise.

Thanks

Not working for me either. I've logged out and back in. I've hit Apply and watched the application animate as it seems to be syncing. but Online Pins are not syncing.

Also, I see them added to the bottom of my list but then they disappear.

Any new suggestions or fixes in the works outside of what's posted above my post here?

@Leon: I don't see anything suspicious in the logs, unfortunately. Could you attach a backup of your ClipboardFusion Settings?

@CFProUser: The current max is 75 but it's something we might increase in a future version. In the meantime, you can view more than 75 on the website: https://www.clipboardfusion.com/Online/Items/Pinned/

@Leon: Not that file, sorry. You can export the settings using the "Export Settings" button on the ClipboardFusion Settings > Options tab. By default it exports them to the Documents\ClipboardFusion Backups folder.

Thanks Leon! Everything in the settings looks fine. Our server logs show that your ClipboardFusion client connected 20h, 47m ago. If you check the website, do your recent items show up there?

This is more my older account that I had free accounts on previously. But I also had prior discussions here in the forum under this account, so I stuck with it for history's sake. Regardless, neither this account, nor the account I use for my paid services has anything online. This one hasn't synced since 2016, but my main account not since June 26th.

Could you send me a support request through ClipboardFusion (Help > Support Request) using the email address for your main account? I'll have a look in the logs for that too and see if I can spot anything suspicious.

Thanks!

There isn't a way to unsubscribe from threads unfortunately, but I'm going to follow-up with Leon via email, so there shouldn't be any more activity in this thread.

Thanks!

I went ahead and blocked support@ for this company until you can allow for such. That will work for the short term. Good luck with your issue. Other than that I'm loving ClipboardFusion. It works great!
