I've written a humble little macro that is started whenever clipboard changes. It then checks if clipboard contains a URL and if so, offers to launch that URL.
That works nicely. BUT the dialog can also disturb, when I'm in the middle of some deep work and did not paste the URL to open it. So I tend to ignore the dialog and continue working...
Which makes me think how wonderful it would be if GUC had an optional timeout!

Or alternatively - am I thinking too complex...can that be achieved differently? And no, I can't be bothered to memorize another hotkey to fire the macro w/o the confirmation - my brain is too small for that ;)

Hi Michael,

I'm not too sure which dialog box your referring to, but if you head into our advanced settings, there are some options to disable different notifications.

Hope that helps!

Hi Owen,
as I had hoped to indicate through choice of subject, this post referred to the dialog box created by BFS.Dialog.GetUserConfirm.

Hi Michael,

Ah sorry, it looks like I had misunderstood :).

I've added a timeout option on that dialogue box to our feature request list. We don't guarantee that feature requests will be implemented, or offer timelines on possible implementation. We'll be sure to let you know if we do add it to our planned features in a future version.

Thanks!
