Hi,
I have just switched to ClipboardFusion from another similar program.
I just wonder, is it possible to get ClipboardFusion to copy Text only?
I don’t want it to copy files, images etc. I have no use for it.
Maybe with a Macro or Trigger?

Thanks in advance...

To clarify, you want to prevent non-text types from showing up on the History tab?

Yes, exactly!
It is not important, but if it is possible I would have been grateful for guidance.
In the previous program I used, there were settings for this, but I find no similar setting in CF.

Ok, thanks! There isn't currently a way to ignore non-text formats in the History yet, but it's on our list for a future version :)

I second this request... right now, it is capturing screenshots from ScreenX whenever I create one... I don't want it to capture any screenshots or images... text only. I already added ScreenX to the list of ignored programs.. but whenever I hit printscreen and drag out my box - the screenshot gets added to the clipboard. Why would anyone want this?!!?

@pesto: If you've ignored the app, it shouldn't be adding it to the history. Could you attach a debug log?

  • On the Settings > Troubleshooting tab, set the Logging Level drop-down to "L2:Log Detailed" and click Apply.
  • Take a screenshot and reproduce the issue.
  • On the Troubleshooting tab, click Open Log, and attach the "ClipboardFusion.log" file.

Thanks!

I have just written this to support -
Your program should have a setting that tells it to only accumulate text entries. Here is an earlier discussion where this was raised by your users -

If programmers designed your system, you should also hire analysts
