There isn't currently a way to do an automatic backup, it just does it any time an update installs. If you're handy with writing batch files, you can make one that exports this registry key:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Binary Fortress Software\ClipboardFusion

And this file:

%LOCALAPPDATA%\ClipboardFusion\clipboardfusion.db

We do have an open feature request for scheduled backups, so I've added your vote to that as well.

Creating Backups of settings automatically

How can Clipboard Fusion make backups automatically? I have noticed that my backups have not been done since September. With Display Fusion, the backups are much newer - last week. I know I can manually create a backup by exporting the settings, but I thought automatic backups were possible.
