I found that I was able to suppress the trigger for the Scrub Text trigger by using the Process Filename property, not the Window Text property. The Excel window title changes with each workbook that is opened so it didn't seem to work, but switching to Process Filename (just browse to select the Excel application) works well. The trigger approach is better than the ignore program approach since Format Painter and CBFusion still works within Excel, you just don't get to use the trigger functionality.

No worries! Another alternative would be to exclude Excel from the Text Scrubbing Trigger rule on Settings > Triggers. You can do this by putting the following into the "Window Text" condition in the Trigger rule:

-Excel

That way, it should still add entries to the history, but the clipboard won't be modified by ClipboardFusion at all.

I purchased ClipboardFusion this week and I've noticed that Excel Format Painter no longer works when CBFusion is running. As soon as a shutdown CBFusion Format Painting works again. I've found the problem when using Excel 2016 and older versions too. Is this a known issue?

The symptom is that when I select the Format Painter button in Excel the cursor no longer turns into a paintbrush, therefore, the format can't be painted onto a different cell.

My operating system is Windows 10 - Fall Creator edition.

Thanks
