That blue dot means ClipboardFusion is syncing the online contents. If you have syncing disabled and still see that icon, this issue should be fixed up here: https://www.clipboardfusion.com/Download/Beta/

Multi-selection isn't something we currently support, but we do have it open as a feature request so I've added your vote to it.
