I guess I want the convenience of using the Binary Fortress login/sync by default, with a check box (advanced option) forcing a simple login master password controlled by the owner. Of course, others may not want this inconvenience of requiring an extra login step unless that advanced option were checked. This begs the question, access to the check box would need some sort of re-verification.

The folks that have access to my windows user account are uber admins at my work, but they would not know by personal binary fortress login or have access to the email I use for Binary Fortress.

This is an option for my password manager, they would have to know my master password to be able to open my vault.

Let me know if that makes sense and if others could benefit. Not wanting to prioritize something that is not beneficial to others.

Is there a workaround to add a simple login step for a more exposed client where other adminstrators have access and can login to the desktop with access to all program and synced data? I would still like to use the binary fortress key login for the sync if possible. If the workaround is to actually login to binary fortress that may be acceptable. Clear text sync is ok for now, but I agree the more advanced encrypted feature option Mythos is requesting would be valuable.

I apologize if these are simple steps most users are aware. I am have more than one license for the product, but don't use it often due to some issue I am currently having, but need it occasionally for remote desktop access where copy/paste to remote session not readily available.

Certainly this password is a local-only password that never leaves the system and must be entered on each client manually. The password is used to symmetrically (e.g. AES-256) encrypt all content to prevent all others parties to read the content (including binaryfortress itself).

Due to increasing security constraints it would be very nice to have such a transparent encryption. This would increase the acceptance of this tool and may rise further interest particurlarly for companies. ]]>
