However in most operational cases opening and selecting a past item does the same thing where the selection vault is then closed. in 5.9.1 control+grave brings history window up, I want to use then control+grave to toggle hidden. used to to work in 5.9 but had to reload everything after computer died. Cant rememebr how i did it.

Yes i can control+grave to view history window then escape to close it. and when selecting an item the text pastes and history window closes. As far as i can remember the control+grave and again used to open then close it. maybe its the old grey cells getting work out! Curse PC total meltdowns! ]]>
