I found when it happens! It's not related to the shortcut, I guess. When I press the shortcut to bring the history window up and then keep pressing the shortcut until I select the preferred item, everything works fine.

The problem occurs when I use the shortcut to bring the history window up and then I use the mouse cursor and a mouse click to pick an entry. recently I have this annoying problem. When I select something from the history to be pasted, it is pasted together with the current clipboard in the end?

I had to change my usual history window shortcut recently from Win+V to something else because Win+V cannot be assigned anymore. I don't know why. I think that the problem started more or less back then. ]]>
