This should be fine if you're using it with one computer, but if you want to run it from something like a USB stick, you might run into some problems with losing your settings when you run it for the first time on a new computer.

In 5.8 we added a new command line option (-portable) that looks in the application's current directory for the database. This way if you wanted to run ClipboardFusion from a USB stick, you'd at least be able to bring your clipboard history/local pinned items with you. You'd still run into a problem with the settings though, but you could always throw a registry settings backup on your USB stick as well.
