That option clears what you have currently copied. If you want to clear the history items, you can set the "Clear History Items Older Than" option in the Clipboard Fusion Settings > Clipboard History

A message appears periodically as expected saying that the clipboard has been cleared, but when I look in the History tab of ClipboardFusion, all of the items still appear.
