Excel does some weird stuff with the clipboard whenever text is copied, and we've tried to work around it with limited success. We've re-opened the ticket for this again and we're going to re-visit it to see if we can come up with any new ideas :)

  • On the Troubleshooting tab, change the Logging drop-down to "L2: Log Minimal"
  • Restart ClipboardFusion
  • Reproduce the issue and note the time so we'll know where to check in the log file
  • Send us the %%APPDATA%%\ClipboardFusion\ClipboardFusion.log file (can be found by clicking the Open Log button on the Troubleshooting tab)
  • Disable debug logging after sending the log

Clipboarfusion would work 1 or 2 times, but then failed to scrub text thereafter. It would work again if I copy text within other program for a few times, then it would stop.

Word 2016 seems to work fine. I can copy text multiple times and it would scrub them. It seems Excel is the only program not working fully.
