I had the same enquiry and was able to follow along to get the same result. The only issue I have with it is this.

If I copy text with colours and formatting and then use a hotkey to "run trigger on clipboard text and paste" I get exactly what I want: the thing I copied but pasted as plain text.

However! The issue I now have is that if I want to later paste the thing I originally copied with its original formatting I'm out of luck as the trigger has fundamentally changed the original "copy" once it ran a trigger on it.

Maybe the way I want to use the app isn't as it's intended - but for me the point of a clipboard manager is that I can perpetually store things I've copied knowing I can always bring them back at a later stage. Is there a way to make "running a trigger" create a new entry in the clipboard while keeping the original copy? Or is running a trigger always destructive to the original copy?

Thanks!!!

Another thing you can do is set the Trigger Command to disabled, and then set a hotkey on the "Run Triggers Now" function (Settings > HotKeys tab).
Hope that helps!

I am new to ClipboardFusion. What I would like is to always copy text keeping formatting in place (say bold, italics, etc). If I paste it would paste the formatted text by default. But I'd like to use a different hotkey to paste as plain text. I found the Trigger that scrubs text on copy and disabled that. So I have the first half working...copy formated and then paste formatted. But now I'd like to setup a hotkey that would scrub the text on paste.

I have searched the settings, the Macros, and this Discussion board and can't find out how to do this. What am I missing?
